Dead Cells Game For Mac v1.20.1 Best Singleplayer Roguelike Action-platformer Video Game For MacOSX.Dead Cells is a rogue-lite, Metroidvania-inspired action platformer. You’ll explore a sprawling, ever-changing castle… assuming you can fight your way past its keepers in 2D souls-lite combat. No checkpoints. Kill, die, learn, repeat. The progressive exploration of an interconnected world, with the replayability of a rogue-lite and the adrenaline-pumping threat of permadeath. Brutal but fair combat, more than fifty weapons and spells with unique gameplay, and the emergency panic roll to get you out of trouble. Sewers, Ossuary, or Remparts? Once unlocked, special permanent abilities allow you to access new paths to reach your objective. Opt for the path that suits your current build, play style, or mood. Secret rooms, hidden passages, charming landscapes. Take a moment to stroll the towers and breathe in that fresh, mist-infused air. It’s incredible, challenging, interesting, fun, and has an excellent sense of humor if you only look for it. I’m not kidding when I say it’s Dead Cell’s best game I’ve played on iOS, and I keep wanting more. I bought some of the DLC and am only a little bit of the way through, it feels like, but I plan on getting the rest once I’ve had my fill of the base game content. Many people talk about the controls being an issue, and I don’t think it’s that bad. Also, Check Out Cult of the Lamb. I get the occasional misclick, but it doesn’t affect me too much for me right now. I Dead Cells say that I haven’t played it on other platforms, though, so it may be hard to adjust if you played it previously, not on iOS. What I do wish was better, though, was the stability. I’m playing on an iPhone 13 Pro Max, so far from obsolete, and I’ve run into memory problems and crashes a few times. It’s not keeping me from getting back on. Still, it’s frustrating when I’m going through a run, doing pretty well, getting some good loot, getting closer to the end of the level and ready to invest my cells, and then boom, the game crashes. I can only go back to the previous save, the beginning of the level again. It’s, again, not much wasted time, but it adds enough frustration that it takes away from what is a masterpiece. This game keeps giving, and I’m not talking about how it has more content after you beat the game, but it does that exceptionally well too. I keep returning to this game, switching from Xbox to my laptop to the app on my phone. Dead Cells keep releasing new content that completely changes to feel of the game (in the best way possible). The foundation for this game is so solid I’m sure an entire world could be built with this gameplay, not just an island this game’s setting is using, which is why I’m sad to hear the DLC in 2022 is the last they plan on doing. I’m sure their next project will also be unique, but I want Deadcells to keep living and growing.
It knows exactly what it is and has mastered itself in a way most games can barely dream of, let alone come close to. I love this game for its art style, music, gameplay, story, ingenuity, and natural uniqueness, mainly because it’s inspired by all the beloved games that have come before and after. The game structure is designed so that you never get enough of it because you can never be strong enough with max hp. Every time you die, you start over with 100 hp, lol. I think those games that let you master and hit max hp always get me bored since it gives me the feeling that I’ve already hit the top. This game doesn’t let you feel that way and is always challenging to survive. But it’s doable. I’m not good at controls, but I’m okay with playing this game. Plus, I’ve been perfectly fine with the controls on the mobile version of this game. It’s worth the money and time. It’s very well designed, balanced, reasonable difficulty, and many surprises and loots are hidden as possibilities of new paths in the game. To be able to play such a well-developed game at this price is a bargain! One thing that disappointed me is that while I could play with different languages on Switch, I could not play the mobile version with different language settings. I wish they’d add this feature if possible. Other than that, no problem with the game. I’m in love with the gameplay provided by the last DLC and Dead Cells, so by the crossover content. The newest weapons are an absolute joy, and I never thought my favorite weapon in a game would be a bone, but as I said before, Dead cells do it right. I like dead cells. I’ve played on Switch and had to buy a mobile one too.
